6G4Society General Assembly in Brussels: Advancing Societal Impact and Preparing for the Future

On 3–4 November 2025, the 6G4Society consortium gathered in Brussels and online for its final General Assembly. As the project moves into its final phase, the meeting provided a valuable opportunity to review progress, share insights, and ensure the long-term sustainability of the project’s results. 

Day 1: Communication, Synergies & Sustainability

The first day focused on project-wide updates, including the latest on communication and dissemination activities, the KVI Ontology, and the project’s sustainability frameworks. Partners reviewed public engagement efforts, explored synergies with other 6G initiatives, and discussed strategies to ensure long-term impact through the transfer of Key Exploitable Results (KERs) and methodological tools. 

Day 2: Societal Impact, Public Engagement & Coordination

Day 2 centere on understanding 6G’s societal impact, integrating citizen survey insights, and refining frameworks for Key Value and Sustainability Indicators. Discussions emphasized technology acceptance, stakeholder engagement, and aligning outputs with policy and operational guidance.  

Looking Ahead

The Brussels General Assembly reinforced 6G4Society’s commitment to values-driven innovation, citizen engagement, and socially responsible 6G development. With a clear plan for knowledge transfer and future collaboration, the consortium is well-positioned to support ongoing 6G research and policy initiatives.
