On May 7-8, 2025, the 6G4Society consortium met in Zurich and online for its latest General Assembly. With the project progressing steadily into its second year, the meeting offered an important opportunity to review key developments, align on shared concepts, and set the course for the next phase.
The first day focused on updates across several core activities. The consortium discussed the evolving KVI Ontology, reviewed the latest results and insights from the Citizen Survey, and assessed the project’s communication strategy and outreach efforts. We also took stock of our Key Exploitable Results (KERs) and looked ahead to the upcoming events, webinars, and workshops that will help amplify the project’s impact across Europe.
Day 2 was dedicated to deepening our shared understanding of essential project terminology, including Key Values, Key Value Indicators (KVIs), Key Sustainability Indicators (KSIs), and the Social Acceptance of Technologies (SAT) Framework. These discussions were vital for ensuring conceptual clarity across work packages. The day concluded with detailed planning of project activities for the next eight months, reinforcing our commitment to collaboration and coherence.
As 6G4Society moves forward, we remain focused on values-driven innovation, citizen engagement, and strategic impact. The Zurich General Assembly brought fresh energy and direction to our shared mission: ensure that societal and sustainable values are properly embedded into the development of 6G technology.
Stay tuned for more updates and join us on the journey!
